Roles and Responsibilities Encapsulants, Foils and Back-sheet Development: 1)Develop, evaluate and qualify new encapsulants, foils and back-sheets for solar PV modules.2)Provide and update the product specifications along the way of developing the materials. Process Development:1)Drive quality improvement in the reliability aspects of solar PV modules.Technological: Knowledge of PV module design functionalities. Knowledge in characterization and analysis. Understanding of degradation mechanisms. Possess excellent project management skills, keeping track of key milestones and deliverables and providing regular updates to management team. Knowledge of statistical data analysis methods and DOE. General: Self-driven Proactive Analytical People / Relations: Excellent team worker. Ability to co-operate with different professionals (operations, equipment suppliers, technology institutes, supply chain, operation). Good communication skills in English, both orally and in writing. Knowledge required: Working experience in Solar/Semiconductors/Electronics/Packaging industries is an advantage, but not necessary.Product Reliability Test Design:Familiar with reliability tests, Damp-heat, Temp Cycle, Humidity Freeze, Light induced degradation, thermal shock. Failure Analysis: Leading FA from technical part. In-depth understanding of module process – structure – property relations, and the degradation mechanism in actual application. Creating test methodology to analyze failure samples and find out a root cause. Documenting FA report based on technical understanding. Finite element modelling and analysis Solidworks, ANSYS). Documentation:Experience in documentation of experimental observations & data in publications /literature.
