Production Manager

Key Accountabilities, Roles and Responsibilities Managing production team and attaining the monthly production targets by Line setup and assigning targets and tracking progress against targets by analysing daily Production reports Conducting periodic review meetings with Leaders for Productivity improvements, cost and waste reduction. Interacting with Purchase and PPC department for updating planning and make necessary re scheduling based on job priority and availability of resources. Mapping and eliminating non-value-added activities to improve the cycle time. Working towards pre-production checks like documents, tools, infra, material shortages, Calibrations, test reports, PPEs and ESD precautions Reviewing the consumable trend and reducing the consumable cost Tracking customer requirements in specifications, processes and Legal compliances. Ensuring productivity monitoring and improvement activities in existing and new models. To meet OTD by closing Production orders in SAP Sustaining FPYR monthly basis by improving process defects in production line Tracking production status and informing the same to the customer after the completion of every phase Conducting advance planning for resources, manpower deployment and rendering technical support; ensuring the execution of projects within time, quality, cost & budgetary parameters Increasing the production by installing new machines and improving operational efficiencies of the existing machines Achieving 100% online coding for all the production lines; facilitating continuous improvements through best-in-class practices for executing cost/ energy savings & modifications to achieve substantial reduction in expenditures and work within the budget Driving process improvement initiatives; implementing value analysis and value engineering initiatives for standardization and reduce costs Eliminating wastages & losses through Lean Manufacturing, 5S & Kaizen and regular audits; implemented measures to achieve reduction in cost Deploying participative management style in a diverse unionized workforce; ensured regular availability of casual labour to achieve monthly production Educational qualification and experience B.E/B tech in electronics from reputed institute. 13-15 year experience with minimum 2 years at leadership role handling overall plant production with minimum 200-300 people Industries BESS, Energy Storage, Power electronics manufacturing, Automotive Tier1 manufacturing, EV, Energy storage and LiB battery manufacturing If interested, please share your updated resume at
