Job Description:
Role & responsibilities :- Create a sales strategy to increase market penetration, and customer volumes and drive revenue goals. - Diversify product ranges in consultation with customer requirements and the manufacturing team. - Create strategies to manage competition and build enduring relationships with all customers. - Create a pricing policy and deploy strategies for driving the pricing policy with the team. - Build strategic alliances supporting JV partners and all stake holders. - Support JV Partners and the JV in executing large sales order - Deliver cross JV sales order. - Prepare plan for Business development with Brand team, for the JV in concurrence with the JV partners. - Represent JV in various trade associations, exhibitions etc - Prepare an annual business plan for sales and marketing functions and ensure deployment for the JV. - Nurture talent and create a leadership pipeline in the team. - Ensure that each business unit is provided with the relevant strategic guidance to achieve the direction set out by the CEO and the board. - Ensure that the JV is developing and maintains existing relations with various external and internal partners. - Liaise across different departments to source information in order to strategize and increase the competitive advantage of the organization. - Drive organizational initiatives like safety, health etc. in the team. - Facilitate all Sales & Marketing functions in developing roadmap and strategies and oversee the successful implementation of the same.Competencies:- Commercial acumen - Good understanding of market and business - Technical depth (ability to read GA drawings, SOW...) - Leadership, ability to deliver results, stakeholder management with C-suite level - Travelling 50%time and more domestic and abroadQualifications:- 4 years Bachelor’s Degree from a reputed college or university in Mechanical Engineering - Full time MBA in Marketing from Tier 1 and Tier 2 colleges in India preferably - Minimum 15 Years of experience in Heavy Engineering, Equipment Manufacturing in Capital Good Industry. - Preference would be given to candidates from Railway sector with experience of freight car, locomotive, metro, coaches - Exposure to international market is preferable.
