In this critical position, you will lead advanced interventional procedures such as primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), coronary angiography, pacemaker management, and thrombolysis, ensuring timely and effective treatment. Your clinical expertise will directly influence patient outcomes, particularly in time‑sensitive scenarios like STEMI. This role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of cardiac care and advancing our team’s mission of excellence in emergency cardiology. Responsibilities Perform coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Lead primary PCI in STEMI patients, consistently meeting door‑to‑balloon time benchmarks. Insert, program, and manage temporary and permanent pacemakers in accordance with clinical guidelines. Administer thrombolytic therapy in acute coronary syndromes, following evidence‑based protocols. Respond promptly to cardiac emergencies, including cardiac arrest, unstable angina, and life‑threatening arrhythmias. Perform pericardiocentesis with procedural accuracy and risk mitigation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, patient‑centered care coordination. Maintain comprehensive and accurate procedural documentation and follow‑up plans. Participate in on‑call rotations and provide urgent intervention support as needed. Stay current with evolving interventional cardiology guidelines, technologies, and research. Requirements MBBS with MD in General Medicine and DM in Cardiology (or equivalent qualification). Valid Medical Registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI). Minimum 1 year of hands‑on clinical experience in interventional cardiology. Proven experience in coronary angiography, angioplasty, and primary PCI. Demonstrated proficiency in pacemaker insertion, programming, and management. Experience in thrombolysis and management of acute coronary syndromes. Ability to perform high‑pressure, time‑critical procedures with composure and precision. Competency in pericardiocentesis with awareness of procedural risks. Strong clinical decision‑making, communication, and teamwork abilities. Commitment to patient safety, medical ethics, and continuous professional development.
