Finance Intern

Job Purpose: The Finance Intern will assist the Finance and Accounts Department in daily accounting operations, financial reporting, data entry, and reconciliation activities. The role provides practical exposure to core financial processes and helps in understanding company financial systems and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities: Accounting Support Assist in day-to-day accounting entries (vouchers, receipts, payments, etc.). Maintain records of invoices, bills, and vouchers in an organized manner. Support in data entry into accounting software (Tally/ERP or equivalent). Banking & Reconciliation Help prepare bank reconciliation statements. Track payments, deposits, and outstanding balances. Maintain petty cash records under supervision. Expense & Billing Management Assist in verifying vendor bills and employee reimbursements. Support in expense tracking and maintaining supporting documents. Financial Reporting Help in preparing daily and weekly MIS reports. Assist in generating summaries for management review. Taxation & Compliance Assistance Support the team in collecting data for GST, TDS, and other statutory filings. Maintain compliance-related documentation and filing records. Audit Support Assist during internal and external audits. Help compile supporting data and verify ledger entries. Coordination & Documentation Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments for invoice follow-ups. Ensure proper filing of financial records (both physical and digital). Key Skills & Competencies: Basic knowledge of accounting principles and MS Excel Familiarity with Tally, ERP, or accounting software preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information Qualifications & Experience: Pursuing or recently completed / / BBA / MBA (Finance) Basic understanding of accounting, taxation, and finance processes Prior internship or academic project in finance will be an added advantage Learning Opportunities: Practical exposure to financial accounting and reporting Understanding of GST, TDS, and compliance management Experience working with accounting software and professional teams Opportunity to gain corporate finance and audit exposure Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹2, ₹4,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
