Job Title: Maintenance ManagerLocation: JalandharSalary: Up to ₹80,000/- per monthIndustry: Forging / Electroplating / Heat TreatmentAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of forging, electroplating, and heat treatment plants. The role involves preventive and breakdown maintenance, managing a team of technicians, ensuring minimum downtime, and compliance with safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules for all plant machinery. - Ensure high uptime of equipment across forging presses, CNC/lathe machines, heat treatment furnaces, and electroplating lines. - Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize breakdowns. - Implement cost-effective maintenance practices and control spare parts inventory. - Lead, train, and supervise a team of maintenance engineers/technicians. - Liaise with production, quality, and safety teams to support continuous manufacturing operations. - Maintain documentation of breakdown reports, maintenance logs, and spare usage. - Drive automation and modernization initiatives for efficiency improvement. - Ensure compliance with statutory norms related to safety, environment, and equipment standards. - Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for specialized repair and AMC contracts.Requirements- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering. - 8–12 years of relevant experience in maintenance within forging / electroplating / heat treatment industries. - Strong knowledge of PLC systems, electrical panels, furnaces, compressors, boilers, and plating lines. - Proven ability to reduce downtime and improve machine reliability. - Leadership and team management skills. - Strong problem-solving and analytical approach. - Familiarity with ISO/TS standards and industrial safety protocols.Perks & Benefits- Competitive salary up to ₹80,000/- per month. - Exposure to modern manufacturing and process automation. - Opportunity to lead a skilled technical team. - Growth and advancement in a reputed manufacturing setup.
