We provide solutions to leading pharmaceutical companies and established healthcare institutions around the world.Who We Are Looking For:We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Regional Publications Lead who will oversee and drive excellence in Scientific Publications projects across our MedComms core region (Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan) and key non-core region countries (including China and Korea). This role requires strong leadership, exceptional editorial expertise, and a collaborative approach to client engagement and team development.What Impact You Will Make:Provide comprehensive oversight and leadership of all ongoing manuscript and other Scientific Publications projects across the region, ensuring consistent high-quality delivery and timeliness.Take charge of troubleshooting and resolving critical issues involving authors and clients to maintain strong relationships and project continuity.Lead the upskilling and professional development of medical writers to enable them to independently oversee the Publications process, guide authors effectively, and facilitate productive discussions with clients.Actively contribute to business development by partnering with business managers during pitch meetings, assisting in proposal development, and supporting the successful closure of high-priority Publications projects.Work with MedComms Editorial and other leaders to enhance and optimize our service offerings and capabilities.What Skills And Experience You Will Bring:Graduate degree in the sciences (PhD, MSc) or the healthcare sciences (MD, MBBS, PharmD, BSc in nursing or allied profession).Recognized medical communications credential (CMPP, ELS, MWC) preferred.At least 5 years’ experience working within healthcare communications, with substantial editorial and Publications leadership experience.Rigorous knowledge of the Publications process, and proven ability to manage multiple Publications projects across geographies with attention to detail and accuracy.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distil complex scientific information into clear, concise messages.Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and upskilling medical writing teams.Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles including handling critical issues and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.Proven track record in business development within the Publications space, with collaborative experience working alongside business managers and pitch teams.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant project management tools.Flexible, collaborative, and proactive working approach.Key competenciesStrong scientific acumen and editorial expertise.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to lead and motivate teams across geographies and cultures.Strategic thinker with an aptitude for solving complex issues efficiently and diplomatically.Business development orientation with a client-centric mindset.Why Work With Us:You will be part of an insightful, engaging, and progressive team working with local, regional and global clients.You will have the opportunity to work on the whole spectrum of client partnership and project management.You will expand your experience in general medical communications, medical education, and healthcare public relations agency work.You will be part of an innovative Business Unit that is focused on driving the future of medical communications, including generative AI integration and transformation.We provide a safe work environment that promotes respect, work-life balance and holistic wellness.
