Job Title: Purchase Executive – HVACDepartment: Purchase / ProcurementLocation: Bangalore, Mumbai, ChennaiNo of Positions : 3Year of Experience : 2-5 Years Job Purpose:To handle the procurement of HVAC materials, components, and services in a timely and cost-effective manner while ensuring quality, vendor reliability, and adherence to company policies.Key Responsibilities:• Identify and evaluate vendors/suppliers for HVAC equipment, ducting materials, electrical items, and related consumables.• Obtain competitive quotations, prepare comparison sheets, and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.• Issue purchase orders (POs) and follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials.• Coordinate with the Design, Planning, and Project Execution teams to understand material requirements and delivery timelines.• Maintain and update the approved vendor list and procurement records.• Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.• Ensure materials meet the required technical specifications and quality standards.• Track and resolve issues related to delivery delays, material discrepancies, or rejections.• Support accounts in verifying supplier bills and payment follow-ups.• Assist in developing procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency.• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.Qualifications and Experience:• Education: Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or Graduate with relevant experience.• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the HVAC / MEP / Construction industry.• Technical Skills:o Knowledge of HVAC systems and components.o Good understanding of materials such as ducts, insulation, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, compressors, etc.o Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software (Tally, SAP, or similar).• Soft Skills:o Strong negotiation and communication skills.o Good coordination and follow-up abilities.o Attention to detail and time management.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):• On-time material delivery rate.• Cost savings achieved through negotiation.• Supplier performance and reliability.• Accuracy and timeliness of purchase documentation.
