Job Description: Government Head – Print Media (Rajasthan Patrika)Location: DelhiExperience Required: Min. 20 YrsRole Summary:Rajasthan Patrika is seeking an experienced Government Head – Print to lead and expand government advertising revenue from central and state government departments, PSUs, and public sector bodies. The role requires strong exposure to DAVP/Bureau of Outreach & Communication (BOC) norms and government media processes.Key Responsibilities:- Key contacts with top secretaries, bureaucracy, ministries - Worked on special initiatives, innovative revenue strategies in govt - Head government advertising (Print) business for Delhi and assigned markets - Drive revenue from Central Ministries, State Governments, PSUs, and Autonomous Bodies - Manage empanelment and compliance with DAVP/BOC guidelines and policies - Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials and media agencies - Plan and execute annual government sales strategies and revenue targets - Coordinate with internal teams for ad releases, scheduling, billing, and collections - Ensure timely submission of documents, release orders, and government billing - Track policy changes, tenders, and new government advertising opportunities - Lead and mentor the government sales teamKey Skills & Competencies:- Strong experience in Government Print Advertising Sales - In-depth knowledge of DAVP/BOC norms, rates, and procedures - Excellent relationship management with government stakeholders - Strong negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills - High level of compliance and documentation accuracyQualification:- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred)What We Offer:- Competitive compensation with performance-linked incentives - Opportunity to lead a critical government revenue vertical - Association with a reputed and credible print media group
