We build, scale, and optimize high-performing Shopify stores for D2C, B2B, and marketplace-driven businesses.We are looking for a Senior Shopify Web Designer who combines strong design sense, technical Shopify expertise, and performance-driven thinking to deliver world-class eCommerce experiences.Role OverviewAs a Senior Shopify Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining Shopify stores that are visually compelling, conversion-focused, fast, and scalable. You will work closely with our UX, development, SEO, and marketing teams to deliver end-to-end eCommerce solutions.Key Responsibilities- Design and develop custom, user-friendly Shopify stores aligned with brand identity and business goals - Customize and build Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Ensure full compatibility with Shopify apps, plugins, and third-party integrations - Optimize stores for performance, speed, SEO, and conversion rate - Implement responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile - Integrate Shopify stores with social media platforms, analytics tools, and external systems - Perform regular testing, debugging, and performance monitoring - Collaborate with internal teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Shopify updates, trends, and best practicesRequired Skills & Expertise- 5+ years of experience in Shopify web design & development - Expert-level knowledge of Shopify Admin, theme architecture, and Liquid templating - Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript - Solid understanding of eCommerce UX/UI principles and conversion-focused design - Experience working with third-party Shopify apps and custom integrations - Strong knowledge of SEO best practices for Shopify - Familiarity with Shopify APIs and multi-channel eCommerce setups - Experience with testing, debugging, and performance optimization - Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environmentSoft Skills We Value- Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Strong attention to detail and organization - Creative problem-solving mindset - Ability to work independently and take ownership - Adaptable and eager to learn new tools and technologiesWhat We Offer- Work on international eCommerce brands and large-scale Shopify projects - A growth-focused, collaborative, and professional work culture - Competitive salary based on experience and skill level - Long-term career growth within Upsworth’s global expansion - Opportunity to work closely with strategy, marketing, and product teams-
