The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver accurate, compliant, and scalable costing processes across manufacturing and supply chain operations.This role requires deep functional expertise in Oracle Cloud Cost Accounting, Cost Management, Subledger Accounting (SLA), Inventory Costing, and WIP/Manufacturing Costing, along with strong understanding of manufacturing and financial integration points.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Design & ImplementationLead functional design and implementation of Oracle Cloud Costing modules, including:Cost AccountingCost ManagementSubledger Accounting (SLA)Inventory CostingWIP / Manufacturing CostingConduct requirement-gathering and design workshops with business usersConfigure costing setups aligned with manufacturing and supply chain processesSupport end-to-end Oracle Cloud SCM implementations related to CostingManufacturing & Supply Chain ProcessesSupport costing for BOMs, Routings, WIP, and Manufacturing flowsManage dependencies across Inventory, Procurement, and Order ManagementEnsure accurate costing across supply chain and manufacturing transactionsFinancial Integration & AnalysisAnalyze and validate financial impacts of costing transactionsEnsure proper integration with Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR)Support reconciliation and accounting validationTesting, Documentation & SupportPrepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and test scriptsSupport SIT, UAT, and production cutover activitiesProvide post-go-live support and issue resolutionDeliver clear documentation and user guidanceRequired Skills & Experience5–10+ years of Oracle SCM functional consulting experienceStrong hands-on expertise in Oracle Cloud CostingExperience with Cost Accounting, Cost Management, SLA, Inventory Costing, and WIP CostingExperience in 2–3 Oracle Cloud SCM implementations (Costing-focused)Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (BOM, Routings, WIP)Solid knowledge of SCM dependencies (Inventory, Procurement, OM)Strong analytical skills for costing and financial impact assessmentExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skillsPreferred / Nice to HaveExperience with Manufacturing Cloud, Supply Chain Planning, or advanced costing scenariosKnowledge of Oracle Financials integration (GL, AP, AR)Industry experience in Manufacturing, Distribution, High Tech, or RetailOracle SCM or Costing certificationsIdeal Consultant ProfileSenior Oracle SCM Costing specialistStrong hands-on functional consultantComfortable leading workshops and driving solutionsDetail-oriented and delivery-focusedAble to work independently in a freelance/contract capacity
