Information Technology Infrastructure Manager

Location: India (Remote Management of Australis Operations) Department: Information Technology Reports To: India Head Team Size: 9 (SAP Basis, SD, WM, PP, MM,BI/BW, Linux Server Administrators)Job SummaryWe are seeking a seasoned IT & SAP Infrastructure Manager based in India to lead our technical team and oversee the IT infrastructure and SAP landscape for our Australis operations. This role demands strong leadership, cross-border collaboration, and deep technical expertise to ensure seamless service delivery and system performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of 9 IT professionals in India, covering SAP Basis and functional modules (SD, WM, PP, MM,BI/BW) as well as Linux server administration.Remotely manage and support IT infrastructure and SAP operations for Australis business units.Ensure high availability, performance, and security of SAP systems and core infrastructure.Collaborate with Australis stakeholders to align IT strategy with business goals.Oversee system upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster recovery planning.Implement and maintain IT policies, cybersecurity protocols, and compliance standards.Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure operational excellence.Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.Required Skills & Qualifications8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and SAP management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.Strong hands-on expertise in SAP Basis and functional modules (SD, WM, PP, MM).Proficiency in Linux server environments and virtualization/cloud platforms.Experience managing remote teams and international operations.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with ITIL practices and cybersecurity frameworks is a plus.Preferred AttributesStrategic thinker with a global mindset.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams remotely.Passion for technology, innovation, and operational excellence.
