Project Manager - Audits (IT/Infra)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager – Audit to lead and manage internal/external audit projects from planning through execution and reporting. This role combines project management expertise with a strong understanding of auditing processes, compliance standards, and risk management. The ideal candidate will ensure audit projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with organisational goals. Job Responsibilities: • Plan, execute, and monitor multiple internal and external audit projects across departments. • Coordinate with internal audit teams, risk managers, and business units to gather requirements and ensure audit readiness. • Develop and manage audit project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and documentation. • Track and report audit progress, findings, and action items to stakeholders and leadership. • Ensure audit projects comply with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and industry best practices. • Identify and help mitigate project risks related to timing, resources, or scope. • Support audit process improvements and the implementation of corrective actions. • Act as a liaison between audit teams, IT, finance, operations, and other business units Required Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. • 5–8 years of experience in internal/external audit, risk management, or project management. • Proven experience managing complex audit or compliance-related projects. • Strong understanding of audit methodologies (e.g., SOX, ISO, ITGCs, internal controls). • PMP, CIA, or CISA certification preferred. • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Proficient in tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and audit management platforms (e.g., TeamMate, AuditBoard).
