About the RoleThe role involves managing both pre-contract and post-contract phases of construction projects, ensuring accurate cost estimations, and maintaining financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesPre-contract (Pre-construction) phase Prepare and Review tender documents for accurate bids. Prepare cost estimations for labor, materials, and equipment. Liaise with contractors to define project requirements. Post-contract (Construction) phase Monitor and control project costs to ensure everything remains within budget. Analyze and forecast project costs, and report on financial performance. Visit construction sites to assess progress, inspect work, and value completed work. Manage and review contracts with contractors/subcontractors before final LOI is issued by concerned Officer. Process payments, claims, and variations, and negotiate changes with various parties. Identify and mitigate commercial and financial risks. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with contractual and local authorities like PF/GST etc. Provide advice on cost-effective solutions. Perform risk assessments and suggest improvements for cost control.QualificationsB. Tech Civil /M . Tech CivilRequired SkillsStrong analytical and forecasting skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in cost estimation and financial reporting.Preferred SkillsExperience with project management software. Knowledge of local construction regulations and compliance.
