Ltd.Hiring: Structural Design Engineer – US Projects (American Codes)Location: Jaipur, IndiaExperience: 2–5 YearsIndustry: Building Design Services | Structural Engineering | AECMarkets: USA (American Building Codes)Employment Type: Full-timeRole OverviewWe are a multinational building design and structural consultancy organization delivering projects across the USA and UK markets, with a newly established India delivery center.We are hiring a Structural Design Engineer – US Projects to work on American-code-based building projects, supporting US clients in the design, coordination, and delivery of high-quality structural engineering solutions.This role is designed for technically strong engineers with deep interest in US structural codes, global project exposure, and international design standards.Key Responsibilities- Structural design of wood, steel, and composite buildings as per US building codes - Design and analysis of: - Type V wood buildings - Steel-framed structures - Moment-resisting frames - Cold-formed steel (CFS) structures - Composite steel deck systems - Post-tensioned (PT) systems - Structural steel and composite structures - Steel connections and anchorage systems - Apply and ensure compliance with: ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, IBC Codes. - FEMA & ICC Codes - Prepare complete structural calculation reports and design documentation - Coordinate with drafting teams for full structural drawing set delivery - Review drawings, models, and reports for quality and compliance - Solve complex structural design and execution challenges - Participate in client coordination and technical discussions - Support project planning, timelines, and delivery management - Guide and mentor junior engineers and drafting teamsCandidate ProfileEducation- B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory) - M.Tech in Structural Engineering / Structures (Preferred)Experience- 2–5 years of experience in US structural design projects - Hands-on exposure to American codes and standards - Experience working with international clients is an advantageTechnical Skills- Strong command on US design codes: ASCE7, AISC, ACI, IBC - Experience with: - Tekla Tedds - Forte Software - Simpson Design Tools & Catalogues - Simpson CFS Designer - Anchor Designer - Strong Wall Web Designer - Excel-based structural design sheets - Ability to prepare professional calculation packages and design reports - High standards for drawing quality, detailing, and documentationProfessional Attributes- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability - High engineering ethics and quality orientation - Structured working methodology - Client-facing professionalism - Team leadership potential - International delivery mindsetGrowth- International project exposure (USA market) - Structured learning in American codes - Career growth path into Senior Structural Engineer / Project Lead / Technical Manager roles - Long-term leadership opportunities within global operationsWork Model- Office-based role (Jaipur) - Shift Model: - Shift 1: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM - Shift 2: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AMAbout the CompanyAryam Design & Build Pvt.
