This strategic leadership role is responsible for drivinginnovation ,cost optimization , and the development ofcustomer-centric design solutions . The incumbent will lead the design and development ofnew productsin alignment withproject specifications and business objectives , delivertechnical expertise and supportto thesales and marketing teams , andmentor and guide a high-performing engineering teamto achieve excellence in product performance, reliability, and compliance..Key responsibilities: Lead thedesign and engineeringofLT, HT, CC, and EHV power cables . Developnew cable productsaligned withcustomer projects, market trends, and business objectives . Ensurecompliancewith all relevantnational and international standards(IS, IEC, BS, etc.). Collaborate withsales and marketingto delivertechnical supportfor cable system design. Engage directly withcustomersto understand requirements and proposecost-effective, technically robust solutions . Represent the organization intechnical discussions, presentations, and customer audits . Drivecontinuous improvementin designs forcost optimizationandperformance enhancement . Strengthenwork systems and practicesto improvespeed, agility, and cost efficiency . Coach and mentorthe design team to buildstrong internal technical capabilities . Foster aculture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning . Implementbest practices, digital tools, and modern engineering methodologies . Promotecross-functional collaborationandagile ways of workingacross teams
