The selected candidate will work on advanced geospatial projects involving cloud-based infrastructure and large satellite datasets. This is a 3-year contractual position, extendable based on performance and project needs.Educational QualificationAny one of the following:Postgraduate degree in GIS / Remote Sensing / Geoinformatics or related disciplineBE / B.Tech in Computer Science / Electronics & Communication / Information TechnologyMCAExperienceMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in image analysis and GIS-related workKey ResponsibilitiesPerform satellite image processing for optical and microwave datasetsCarry out georeferencing, GIS data creation, DEM creation and analysisExecute microwave satellite data processing and interpretationUtilize Google Earth Engine (GEE) for geospatial analysis and automationIntegrate satellite, biophysical, and ground-based datasetsAnalyze and interpret satellite imagery, weather, and climate dataWork on spatial analysis, visualization, and technical documentationCoordinate with project teams to meet defined deliverablesTechnical Skills & ToolsStrong experience with ERDAS Imagine, ArcGIS, ENVI, SNAP, or similar GIS softwareHands-on experience in Optical & Microwave image analysisProficiency in Google Earth Engine (GEE)Understanding of cloud infrastructure for geospatial data storage and computationStrong knowledge of GIS workflows and spatial analysisDesired SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of correlation between satellite data and biophysical parametersExposure to ground weather and climate datasets is an added advantageAbility to work independently in a project-based environmentGood communication and documentation skillsContract DetailsContract Duration: 3 YearsExtension: Extendable based on performance and project requirementsInterview Mode: Virtual InterviewWork Location: PAN Madhya Pradesh
