Director – School of Media & MarketingSymbiosis University of Applied Sciences, Indore, invites applications from dynamic and experienced academic leaders for the position of Director in the School of Media and Marketing.Educational Qualification:Ph.D. in Management (Marketing or allied domains), Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized university.Experience:Minimum 12 years of teaching/industry experience in the relevant domain, with at least 5 years in academic leadership roles (such as HoD, Program Chair, or similar positions). A strong portfolio of academic research and evidence of curriculum development and academic planning is essential.Preferred Background:Candidates with significant exposure to outcome-based education (OBE), and experience in driving academic and operational excellence in higher education institutions will be given preference.Key Responsibilities:- Provide academic leadership and strategic direction for the School of Media. - Collaborate with the stakeholders on curriculum design, industry integration, and pedagogy enhancements. - Drive faculty development, research output, and student success initiatives. - Foster partnerships with the industry for internships, placements, and consulting projects. - Support institutional goals related to quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and accreditation. - Lead mentoring programs and innovation in teaching-learning processes.Required Skills:- Strong academic leadership and team management capabilities. - Expertise in Digital Media, Social Media Marketing, Tools, Ecommerce and Digital Consumer Trends. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills. - Ability to align academic processes with industry requirements and university objectives.We are looking for a visionary leader committed to shaping the next generation of digital media professionals through innovation, industry collaboration, and academic excellence.
