The ideal candidate will have experience in crafting compelling proposals for private, state, and federal government contracts. As a Proposal Writer, you will play a critical role in helping us secure new opportunities and expand our presence in the public and private sectors.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to gather information and insights required for proposal development.Research and analyze RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitations to understand project requirements, evaluation criteria, and compliance guidelines.Develop and write clear, concise, and persuasive proposal content that addresses client needs and showcases our strengths and capabilities.Create compelling executive summaries, cover letters, and other proposal sections to engage and captivate evaluators.Edit and proofread proposal content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to formatting and style guidelines.Coordinate proposal development activities, including proposal kick-off meetings, content reviews, and document version control.Maintain a proposal library with up-to-date content, templates, and reusable boilerplate text.Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and changes in government procurement regulations.Qualifications:Master's degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field. Experience in proposal writing for private, state, and federal government contracts.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PPT and Excel).Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Experience with technical writing and IT proposals is a plus.
