Position Title: Govt Proposal Writer(USA) Department: Business Development / Pre-Sales- Augmentare Inc Location: Hyderabad, India Job Description Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Proposal Manager with 8+ years of experience in the IT Services industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in proposal writing, bid management, market research, and business development across the US State, Local Government (SLED) and Federal sectors. The candidate should be capable of managing the entire proposal lifecycle, collaborating with technical and pre-sales teams, and helping build a strong government contracting pipeline. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end proposal management for IT Services & Staff Augmentation. Manage pre-sales and proposal response teams for government bids. Draft, review, and submit compliant, compelling responses to RFXs (RFP, RFI, RFQ, SOW, EOI) for State, Local and Federal. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including technical teams and teaming partners. Drive GO/NO-GO decisions, create annotated outlines, assign writing tasks, and oversee formatting and final submission. Conduct SWOT and competitor analysis to build a bidding strategy. Perform email campaigns and cold calling to generate new leads. Work closely with BD teams to identify opportunities and build strategic partnerships across various government agencies. Participate in SLED and Federal procurement cycles, support proposal process automation, and ensure compliance. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in Proposal Management, including SLED and Federal contracts. Strong understanding of the US State and Federal acquisition process and experience with GSA, FedConnect, SAM.gov, and similar systems. Proven track record in managing and winning government contracts for IT Services and Staffing. Experience in vendor registration and compliance processes for State and Federal contracts. Excellent written and verbal communication, editing, and document organization skills. Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
