If that sounds like something you aspire to, we want to hear from you!As a Software Engineer, you will focus on mentoring and leading others to deliver high quality, cost-effective technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for applying secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.Mentors and trains other team members on design techniques, tools and coding standards.Provides strategic advice on using technology to achieve goals.Drives cross-collaboration and execution of projects across multiple teams.Analyzes, solutions, develops, tests, debugs, documents and deploys software according to standards and optimal practices.Champions the use of DevSecOps practices, tooling and techniques.Ensures continuous learning and improvement through ongoing training, practice and innovation.Manages individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.Additional responsibilities may include collaboration across teams and adherence to company standards.May perform other responsibilities as assigned.Additional Responsibilities and ImpactIn addition to core Technical Lead responsibilities, this role provides the opportunity to take ownership of the technical direction for Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions, leading design, configuration, and integration efforts across a modern, cloud enabled ecosystem. You will serve as the hands on expert, shaping high quality, scalable solutions while influencing best practices across the team.You will work across PolicyCenter configuration, integrations, and APIs, while also contributing to a broader architecture that includes microservices, cloud platforms, and event driven technologies. This role offers strong visibility and impact, combining deep technical execution with leadership and mentorship in a fast paced agile environment.Reporting Structure: Reports to Technology Manager/Director - IndiaQualification CriteriaQualifications & Experience:· BE / BTech in computer science, management information systems, mathematics or related field is strongly preferred.Experience:Total Exp of 8 – 12 years with Six years of experience in programming and systems analysis. Three years of experience in project management is preferred.Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter (v10 or later), including configuration and integration patternsDeep hands on expertise in Gosu and Java, along with REST APIs and SQL based data accessExperience working within modern technology stacks, including Spring Boot, Kafka, cloud platforms, and containerizationProven ability to lead and mentor developers within an agile delivery modelFocus on building secure, high performing, and maintainable solutions with strong DevSecOps practicesKey Areas of FocusOwn technical design and code quality for Guidewire PolicyCenter implementationsLead development across Gosu and Java, including integrations, REST APIs, and data accessContribute to modern engineering practices across microservices, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelinesMentor developers and promote strong coding standards, design practices, and troubleshooting approachesPartner with architecture, product, and QA to deliver solutions aligned to business and technical objectivesTechnical Skills:CI/CDCloud ComputingSoftware Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Software SecuritySoftware TestingSystems IntegrationTechnology RoadmapVendor ManagementSoft Skills & Attributes:Strong communication and collaboration skillsAnalytical and problem-solving mindsetAbility to work in agile and global environmentsTime management and prioritizationHands-on technical leadership experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
