Role Overview Mesta is looking for a Marketing Operations Associate who will own the operational backbone of our marketing efforts. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, and revenue operations . You will manage inbound and outbound marketing operations, lead lifecycle workflows, email campaigns, and marketing automation systems. Your work will ensure that leads generated through marketing are properly qualified, nurtured, and handed off to sales with context and momentum . This is a high-ownership role suited for someone who is curious, proactive, and comfortable figuring things out without waiting for instructions . The right candidate will grow into a senior marketing or growth leadership role as Mesta scales. Key Responsibilities Marketing Operations Own the end-to-end marketing operations stack , including CRM and marketing automation tools. Manage lead capture, enrichment, segmentation, and lifecycle workflows. Ensure accurate lead tracking, attribution, and reporting across all marketing channels. Email Marketing & Lead Nurturing Build and manage email marketing campaigns including newsletters, product updates, and nurture sequences. Design lead nurturing workflows that educate prospects before the sales handoff. Continuously optimize open rates, engagement, and conversion metrics. Inbound Marketing Operations Manage inbound lead flow from website forms, campaigns, and events. Ensure leads are properly categorized, enriched, and routed. Work with the marketing team to build automated nurture journeys . Outbound Marketing Operations Support outbound campaigns by managing prospect lists, segmentation, and email workflows. Work closely with sales to ensure outbound marketing efforts translate into qualified pipeline opportunities . Revenue Alignment Collaborate with the sales team to define lead qualification criteria and handoff processes . Track marketing contribution to pipeline and revenue. Continuously improve marketing-to-sales conversion rates. Reporting & Insights Build dashboards to track campaign performance, lead progression, and pipeline impact. Identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency and conversion rates. What We're Looking For Experience 2–4 years of experience in marketing operations, growth marketing, or demand generation. Experience working with B2B SaaS, fintech, or payments companies is highly preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Skills Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Customer.io, etc.). Strong understanding of lead lifecycle management and marketing funnels . Comfortable working with data, dashboards, and marketing analytics . Experience running email campaigns and nurture sequences . Mindset Curious and analytical; enjoys experimenting and learning quickly. Takes initiative and acts without waiting for detailed instructions. Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment . Strong ownership mentality with a revenue-focused mindset . Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) Experience with LinkedIn marketing campaigns, Google campaigns or outbound tooling . Familiarity with SEO, content distribution, or growth marketing frameworks .
