Manufacturing Lead- Assembly Line

Define overall manufacturing strategy, including line design, automation roadmap, and capacity planning Lead line layout planning, line balancing, takt time optimization, and productivity enhancement Establish best-in-class assembly processes with strong quality control systems Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and TPM initiatives across lines Manage contract manufacturers/vendors, ensuring adherence to Usha’s quality and process standards Oversee New Product Introduction (NPI) and seamless ramp-up from pilot to mass production Build and lead high-performing production & engineering teams Ensure cost optimization, yield improvement, and operational excellence Track and drive key KPIs: OEE, productivity, rejection rates, cost/unit, and on-time delivery Key Requirements:Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering 12–18+ years of experience in manufacturing, with strong exposure to assembly line setup & operations Proven track record in leading large-scale assembly operations
