Role Overview Role Name: Factory Manager Reporting to : Chief Manufacturing Officer Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end factory operations, ensuring production targets are met on time and within budget. Plan, organize, and control production schedules to meet demand forecasts and inventory requirements. Lead and develop production teams to ensure high levels of efficiency, morale, and performance. Ensure strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations (EHS). Maintain high-quality manufacturing standards and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, etc.). Coordinate with procurement, logistics, QA/QC, maintenance, and HR teams for smooth plant functioning. Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance to reduce downtime. Optimize resource utilization including manpower, materials, and machines. Prepare reports on production performance, cost analysis, and key KPIs for senior management. Drive automation and digitization efforts for enhanced productivity and transparency. Key Qualifications: Minimum 8–15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in FMCG. Proven experience in managing large teams and factory operations. Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs, cost control, and lean manufacturing. Familiarity with regulatory compliance, FSSAI, and other statutory requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
