Cyient Semiconductors is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Corporate Counsel to join the General Corporate & Compliance function supporting the EMEA, APAC, and North America (NAM) regions. This role is based in our Madhapur, Hyderabad office.The ideal candidate will be a pragmatic, business-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders across jurisdictions, ensuring robust legal support while driving regulatory and contractual compliance.Experience Required3-6 years post-qualification experience in general corporate lawIn-house experience preferred (not mandatory)Strong exposure to cross-border commercial transactionsKey Responsibilities1. Commercial Contracts & Cross-Border TransactionsDrafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements including:Outsourced services agreementsVendor agreementsPartnership agreementsReseller agreementsManaging both buy-side and sell-side contractingAdvising on cross-border transactions across EMEA, APAC & NAMKeeping abreast of international contracting trends2. Corporate & Regulatory ComplianceManaging regulatory and contractual compliance requirements (including Export Control compliance)Supporting compliance enforcement across assigned territoriesDeveloping policies, procedures, and compliance guidelinesAssisting the global compliance team in territorial oversight3. Dispute & Litigation ManagementManaging disputes and litigation matters in coordination with external counselSupporting the Global Legal Head’s office on contentious matters4. Employment & M&A AdvisoryAdvising on HR/employment-related legal mattersSupporting M&A transactions and related due diligence5. Risk Management & Stakeholder EngagementIdentifying legal and commercial risks and providing pragmatic solutionsDelivering clear, actionable legal recommendations to business leadersCollaborating closely with Operations, HR, Finance, Risk, and IT Security6.
