Role: Network Security EngineerLocation: Mumbai, Chennai, HyderabadExperience: 5+ Years Skills: PaloAlto or Cisco, Firewall, F5, Zscaler or FortigateWalkin Interview on 18th April Saturday Mumbai: TCS Yantra Park Pokharan Road Number 2, TCS Approach Rd, Thane West, Thane, Maharashtra 400606Chennai: TCS Ozone Techno Park No. 1/13, Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR), Navallur, Chennai - 603103Hyderabad: TCS Deccan Park, Plot No.1, Hitech City Main Rd, Software Units Layout, HUDA Techno Enclave, Madhapur, Hyderabad, Telangana 500081 Role Responsibilities Provide first-level support for firewall and VPN-related security issues.Monitor security related alerts, firewall logs, and VPN activity for anomalies or potential threats.Report generation on firewalls as per Manager’s request and guidance.Update and manage incidents, changes, and service requests in ServiceNow in a timely and accurate manner.Support access requests, rule changes, and configuration updates under guidance and as per SOP.Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Network Security Manager.Collaborate with network, infrastructure, and security teams to maintain a secure environment.Document resolution steps and contribute to knowledge base articles for recurring issues.Prepare and submit monthly metrics, reports, and dashboards related to incident volumes, SLA compliance, and resolution trendsAny other responsibilities assigned by the Manager. Qualifications & Experience 2–3 years of experience in network security or cybersecurity operations.Familiarity with the ease of navigation of firewall management tools including Panorama, Strata Cloud Manager, and Cisco FMC is mandatory.Experience with incident/ticket management systems (e.g., ServiceNow).Working knowledge of:Palo Alto firewalls (basic monitoring, rule verification, troubleshooting)Cisco ASA/Firepower firewall platformsVPN technologies Understanding of basic networking (TCP/IP, routing, ports, and protocols).Strong attention to detail with good analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in US shifts
