Azure Data Engineer

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training• Overall 9-10 years experience • Latest 2-3 years of playing Azure technical lead roles to drive technical Design and Architecture solutions, Work with Business on requirement understanding, Implement Standards to meet business demands and challenges. • latest 3 years of cloud development and data lake experience (prefer Microsoft Azure) including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps and Power BI.• 3 years data analytics experience using SQL• Combination of Development, Administration & Support experience in several of the following tools/platforms required:• Scripting: Pyspark, Python, Spark, Unix, SQL• Data Platforms: Teradata, SQL, ADLS, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure Data Explorer. Administration skills a plus• CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform• Clear understanding on Data Warehousing concepts• Data Governance and Privacy: Informatica Axon and EDC, BigID• Orchestration: Azure Data Factory, Tivoli• Experience in designing solutions for Real time and Batch processing jobs• Experience in performance tuning / Code Optimization
