Our innovative and integrated approach ensures that we deliver top-quality solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of our customers.Job description:We are looking for a talented and motivated Python/C++ Qt Developer to support the development of Mission Control and GUI tools used for satellite testing and integration. This role requires working at the intersection of Computer based application and aerospace systems which will put you in a very small percentage of people IN THE WORLD with such experience. This role will require fundamental knowledge of serial communication. You will be reading up and learning every day, from your colleagues and past research on aerospace. Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain desktop applications using Python 3.x and Qt frameworks (PyQt/PySide)Develop backend algorithms, hardware drivers in C/C++ and link to GUIImplement tiered, user friendly, configurable and intuitive UI-elements for command panels, telemetry visualization and configuration dashboard. Design and maintain instinctive documentation for GUI features, workflows and API integrations.Develop CI/CD pipelines for testing communication interfaces, telemetry and telecommand packets and CCSDS protocol implementations.Develop robust API-based libraries which can easily be integrated based on design requirements.Preferred:Experience with Python, PyQt, and building intuitive UI-based applicationsUnderstanding of serial communication protocols, and awareness of embedded systems / satellite workflowFamiliarity with version control and problem solvingInterest in ground systems, mission control and embedded electronicsAbility and willingness to work independently and come up with software design solutions based on requirement from electronics team.Critical thinking to foresee and design solutions to tackle potential challengesQualifications:1–4 years of experience working with UI based applications and dashboards using python / C++Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronics, Computer Science and Electrical engineering).Strong technical foundation in python programming with experience in designing API based libraries. Experience implementing automated testing workflows and CI/CD pipelines based on Docker and GitModerate knowledge of C/C++ and datatypesKnowledge of RegEx and user input validations Conceptual understanding of serial communication protocol.
