In this role, the Administrator is expected to support 24/7 as Linux administrator with DevOps. The admin tasks consist of key areas: Implement, Perform, Provide Technical Support, Recommend Support, Create Documentation. The admin must be able to coordinate between multiple technology teams.Responsibilities• Expert level knowledge on automation/configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Python.• Leadership level of Knowledge/Responsibility RedHat/Centos.• Expert level knowledge of UNIX/Linux (L3).• Excellent understanding and work experience in Vulnerability management.• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.• Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments.• Performance troubleshooting and capacity planning.• Troubleshooting, Installation, maintenance, and tuning of Linux / Unix OS.• Strong knowledge of server hardware and software.• Prepares installations and implement Linux / UNIX operating software and associated components.• Experience in User Administration using LDAP.• VMware Administration – Virtualization techniques or any other virtualization technology.• Experience in system security, patching and upgradations.• Strong knowledge of host-based SAN migrations and good experience with SAN LUNS scanning and mapping etc.,• Proficient with LVM and Linux File systems.• Ability to tune kernel/System parameters.• Knowledge on Oracle ASM and SAN Storage.• Experience/Troubleshooting TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, NFS.Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in IS, Computer Science, MIS Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.• Proven communication skills when working with other technical towers to work out issues.• Must be well organized, thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment, leverage best practices, and most importantly, innovate through any problem with a can-do attitude.• Must understand various logging methods and security event terminology.• Strong leadership skills when troubleshooting across multiple vendor platforms and working out technical issues.• Technical Support & Troubleshooting – Proven ability to diagnose and resolve customer and platform issues in production environments.• Strong Communication & Documentation – Ability to clearly document procedures, write knowledge base articles, and collaborate with customers and teams.• Time Management & Accountability – Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage workload effectively.Preferred Qualifications/ Skills• Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role.• In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem-solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude.• Good ITIL knowledge• Flexible to work for 24x7 process.• Excellent Communication and interpersonal Skills• Ability to prepare Dashboards and Reports• Experience of working independently & as a team player• Should have a proactive work approach and ability to think out of the box.
