Java Backend Developer

Job Title: Java Backend Developer Location: Hyderabad (Onsite/Hybrid, as applicable) Experience: 3 to 6 Years Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with 3–6 years of experience to join our development team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs along with solid problem-solving and analytical skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable backend applications and services. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot . Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end applications and external systems. Develop and optimize microservices-based architectures . Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices. Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning. Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality. Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in production and non-production environments. Stay up-to-date with new technologies, frameworks, and industry trends. Required Skills & Qualifications: 3–6 years of hands-on experience in backend development. Strong expertise in Java 8+ , Spring Boot , and Microservices architecture . Proficient in designing and developing RESTful APIs . Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB . Good knowledge of OOP concepts, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns . Experience with version control systems (Git) . Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Good understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills (Good to Have): Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.) . Knowledge of security best practices in backend applications (authentication, authorization, etc.). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies . Knowledge of testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito.
