Job Title: Authorised Verifier (Junior) Location: Hyderabad (Head Office) Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite Experience Required: 1–2 Years in Insurance Sales, Telemarketing, Customer Relationship Management, or Insurance Advisory Roles Role Overview The Authorised Verifier (Junior) supports the insurance sales and verification workflow by managing customer leads, conducting customer conversations, performing need analysis, and assisting in policy closure processes. The role also involves supporting and eventually conducting customer verification calls as per IRDAI guidelines, ensuring that customer consent, product understanding, and regulatory compliance requirements are properly documented. This role works under the supervision of the Senior Authorised Verifier and contributes to maintaining transparent and compliant insurance sales processes. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead Handling & Customer Engagement Manage inbound and outbound leads generated through the digital aggregator platform.  Initiate conversations with prospective customers to understand their insurance requirements.  Provide professional assistance to customers throughout their insurance purchase journey.  2. Customer Need Analysis Assess customer profiles including age, family needs, income level, and risk coverage requirements.  Help customers evaluate suitable insurance policies across multiple insurers available on the platform.  Clearly explain product features, coverage benefits, premiums, and policy terms.  3. Assisted Policy Closure Guide customers through the policy purchase journey from inquiry to policy issuance.  Assist customers with documentation and application completion.  Support policy conversions through structured follow-ups and customer engagement.  4. Follow-ups & Customer Retention Conduct follow-up calls with prospective customers and pending leads.  Manage renewal reminders and customer retention conversations.  Maintain long-term customer relationships and ensure high service quality.  5. Verification & Compliance Conduct or assist in customer verification calls in accordance with IRDAI Web Aggregator regulations.  Confirm customer identity, consent, and understanding of the selected insurance product.  Ensure no mis-selling, persuasion, or misleading information occurs during verification.  Maintain recorded verification interactions as required for compliance audits.  6. CRM & Documentation Update customer interactions, call notes, and lead status in the CRM system.  Maintain accurate records of leads, verification logs, and policy transactions.  Ensure documentation is complete and audit-ready as per regulatory standards.  Required Qualifications Graduate in any discipline (Commerce, Business, Finance preferred).  1–2 years of experience in insurance sales, telemarketing, or customer relationship roles.  Basic understanding of insurance products such as Life, Health, Motor, and General Insurance.  Familiarity with CRM systems, calling tools, and MS Office.  Regulatory Certification Requirement Candidates must be willing to undergo and successfully pass the IRDAI Authorised Verifier certification examination as required under the Insurance Web Aggregator Regulations. The company will provide the necessary training and guidance to prepare for the certification. Successful completion of the IRDAI Authorised Verifier examination is mandatory for continuation in the role. Key Skills & Competencies Strong verbal communication skills (English + regional language preferred)  Customer relationship management  Insurance advisory and need analysis  Lead management and structured follow-ups  Basic understanding of IRDAI compliance standards  Attention to detail and documentation accuracy  Preferred Attributes Experience working with digital insurance platforms or aggregator environments  Exposure to multi-insurer policy comparison models  Strong customer engagement and problem-solving skills  Ethical conduct and compliance-focused mindset  Reporting Structure Reports To: Senior Authorised Verifier Functional Alignment: Principal Officer / Compliance Officer Compensation Competitive salary aligned with industry standards and experience. Additional benefits include: Performance-based incentives  Statutory benefits (PF, ESI, Gratuity)  Training on insurance products and IRDAI regulations  Opportunities for career advancement within the organization based on performance and experience  About Insure Mavens Insure Mavens Insurance Web Aggregator Private Limited is a digitally driven, IRDAI-compliant insurance web aggregator based in Hyderabad.
