Job Description – Senior Endoscopic Technician Position:Senior Endoscopic Technician Department:Gastroenterology / Endoscopy Experience:10+ Years Location: Hyderabad, Financial DistrictRole Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and clinically strongSenior Endoscopic Technicianwith over 10 years of hands-on experience in assisting advanced endoscopic procedures. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in handling endoscopy equipment, ensuring patient safety, and supporting complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.Key Responsibilities Clinical Support Assist gastroenterologists indiagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic proceduresincluding: Upper GI Endoscopy Colonoscopy ERCP EUS Ensure smooth preparation and positioning of patients Monitor patient condition during procedures⚙️Equipment & Procedure Management Operate, maintain, and troubleshootendoscopy equipment and accessories Ensure proper functioning of scopes, processors, and imaging systems Maintain procedure readiness and minimize downtimeInfection Control & Sterilization Perform high-level disinfection and sterilization of endoscopes Ensure strict adherence toinfection control protocols (NABH/JCI standards) Maintain sterilization logs and compliance documentationDocumentation & Compliance Maintain accurate records of procedures, equipment usage, and sterilization Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory guidelines Assist in audits and quality checksTraining & Leadership Guide and mentor junior technicians Train staff on endoscopy protocols and equipment handling Support continuous quality improvement initiativesKey Skills & Competencies Strong clinical knowledge of endoscopic procedures Expertise in handling advanced endoscopy systems High attention to detail and patient safety Ability to work in high-pressure clinical environments Strong communication and teamwork skillsQualifications Diploma / Certification in Endoscopy Technology or relevant field Relevant certifications in infection control (preferred)Preferred Experience Experience inmulti-specialty / tertiary care hospitals Exposure toadvanced procedures (ERCP, EUS) Familiarity withNABH/JCI protocolsKey Attributes ✔ Clinically strong and hands-on ✔ Proactive and solution-oriented ✔ High ownership and accountability ✔ Commitment to quality and patient careWhy Join Us Opportunity to work in ahigh-end clinical environment Exposure to advanced procedures and technologies Growth and learning opportunities in a leading healthcare setup
