Early Years Class Teacher

Qualification: Certified Graduate; Authorized Teacher Training Certification.Knowledge: Knowledge of teaching pedagogy; Understanding of IB program guidelines.Technical Proficiency: ·       Aptitude to Plan meticulously, communicate effectively and Reflect objectively.·       Computer (technology) literate·       Ability to source information, interpret and present for learners.·       Team playing and collaborative work ability.Experience: A classroom practitioner for at least 3 to 5 years and good track record.Attitude: Natural connect with children; purpose driven and respect for work culture.Key Responsibilities:·       Design, facilitate and evaluate learning as per the program guidelines and school principles.·       Pastoral care and academic guidance to students. ·       Ensure all students attain or progress towards attaining the learning goals as per the written curriculum·       Manage classroom resources and provide equal access to students.·       Adherence to daily and weekly academic routines.·       Be the first point of contact for the parents of students. ·       Be accountable for responding to the communication pertaining to curriculum, classroom and students, with parents, within school teams and within class family.·       Generate student progress reports in collaboration with the other members of the class faculty.·       Invest on professional development – learn, unlearn and relearn to benefit learner’s experience.·       Train the Co-Teacher to eventually take up the Class Teacher role.*The Class Teacher holds sole responsibility for course completion; learner progress; safety of students; communication with parents and overall classroom administration. She will be assisted by the Co-Teacher need based.*Good with Rhymes and Storytelling.
