Job Title: Trainer - Pharma Manufacturing Technician Department: Learning & DevelopmentLocation: HyderabadPosition OverviewThe Pharma Manufacturing Technician Trainer will be responsible for delivering structured training programs for students and job aspirants preparing for roles in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The role focuses on building technical knowledge, practical capability, and compliance awareness in areas such as CGMP, SOPs, equipment handling, batch manufacturing processes, and workplace safety. The trainer will also support learner assessments, on-the-job training, and continuous improvement of the program.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining DeliveryDesign and deliver structured training programs for learners preparing for entry-level roles in pharma manufacturing.Conduct classroom sessions, practical demonstrations, simulation-based learning, and on-the-job training support.Train learners on SOPs, batch manufacturing records, equipment operation, safety protocols, and shop-floor discipline.Provide exposure to key manufacturing processes such as granulation, compression, coating, filling, and packaging.Create learner-friendly training materials including presentations, job aids, competency checklists, and e-learning content.Training AdministrationMaintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, certifications, and training completion.Track learner progress through quizzes, practical evaluations, and performance indicators.Prepare periodic progress reports for program teams and stakeholders.Ensure training matrices are updated and aligned with role-specific competency requirements.Assessment & Continuous ImprovementConduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps among learners.Work with program teams, industry experts, and regulatory advisors to update content in line with industry practices and regulatory changes.Use blended learning, simulation, and cross-training methods to improve knowledge retention and employability outcomes.Support program reviews by identifying learning gaps and recommending corrective actions.Provide learner support during OJT and help bridge classroom learning with workplace application.QualificationsB.Pharm or M.Pharm preferredB.Sc. in Chemistry or Life SciencesDiploma in Pharmacy may also be consideredCertification in Training & Development is an advantageExperience3–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing1–3 years of experience in a training role preferredHands-on exposure to solid dosage, sterile, or OSD manufacturingFamiliarity with regulatory inspection environments such as USFDA, EU, or WHO is preferredTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge of cGMP, GDocP, and pharmaceutical manufacturing regulationsGood understanding of pharmaceutical processes, equipment, and manufacturing workflowsExperience with LMS or Training Management SystemsAbility to develop curriculum, assessments, and structured learning contentProficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, and digital training toolsBehavioural CompetenciesStrong communication and facilitation skillsHigh attention to detail and compliance orientationAbility to engage and influence entry-level learners and shop-floor audiencesProblem-solving and analytical thinkingHigh ownership, integrity, and proactive attitudeWork EnvironmentThe role may involve support within manufacturing plant areas, including cleanrooms and general manufacturing zonesCandidate should be comfortable with gowning and PPE requirements as per area classificationOccasional travel to other manufacturing sites may be required for training deploymentDr. Reddy’s Foundation is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
