Head of Construction

About the CompanyWe are partnering with a leading organization in the Real Estate sector to appoint a Construction Head for their residential portfolio, based in Hyderabad.About the RoleThe role requires a leader with strong on-site execution capabilities, deep knowledge of residential construction, and the ability to manage large teams, contractors, and consultants. The incumbent should have strong industry credibility and references and be well versed in the Telugu language to effectively coordinate with local contractors, workforce, and statutory authorities.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end construction management of residential projects including apartments, villas, and township developments.Plan, execute, and monitor construction activities to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and cost control.Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, PMCs, and contractors.Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and statutory regulations.Oversee contractor management, including evaluation, onboarding, performance monitoring, and certification of bills.Track project schedules, budgets, BOQs, and cash flows; identify risks and implement corrective actions.Conduct regular site reviews, progress meetings, and management reporting.Ensure adherence to quality assurance, safety norms, and sustainability practices.Manage project completion, handover, and defect-liability period activities.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Master’s degree preferred).Around 25 years of experience, with substantial exposure to residential real estate construction.Proven experience in executing large-scale residential projects from inception to completion.Strong understanding of local building codes, approvals, and statutory processes in Telangana / South India.Required SkillsStrong on-site execution capabilities.Deep knowledge of residential construction.Ability to manage large teams, contractors, and consultants.Strong industry credibility and references.Proficiency in the Telugu language.Preferred SkillsExperience with large-scale residential projects.Familiarity with local building codes and statutory processes.Pay range and compensation packageNot specified.Equal Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices.
