Landscape BIM Modeller

An emerging Landscape Architecture Studio based in Dubai, having office in India is seeking highly competent Landscape BIM Modellers who meet the following criteria: Successful candidates will possess the following competencies and experience: Basic Function: The core function of Landscape BIM Modeller is to improve the (production) workflow by implementing the latest and relevant technologies and software developments and to maintain the BIM function, library and templates with accurate standards to meet production requirements of the company, including both the Middle East branch and linked with the SCLA as a whole. Working under the direction of the BIM Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the BIM function are improved upon and / or maintained at a high and consistent level. This position is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Undertake all aspects of BIM modeling associated with SCLA’s Landscape Projects. Assist in preparation of Plans, Sections, Construction Details & Schedules using Revit Software. Implement and maintain the BIM Protocol, as per project scope. Participate in BIM Coordination (not limited to clash detection) and use of information during the BIM process. Review records of BIM models and their status. Establish quality control procedures to check that all the models are accurate. Ensure that each organization has published version of the model for each significant milestone stage as identified in the BIM Coordination Program. Co-ordinate hand over of model and data at the agreed milestones in the BIM Coordination program. To develop the project folders, file structure, templates, central files, etc. Monitor and supervise the agreed document and model sharing/publication system. Assist with the studio’s development of detailed Revit families and project details. Assist with development of scripts. Experience: 5 + Previous extensive BIM Modeler / BIM Technician experience. Candidate must have experience with top tier Architectural/Landscape Design Consultancies; Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills; Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals; Must be a self-starter and possess the drive to pursue continued education on BIM; Possess the ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
