Engineering Leader — EchoLocation: Hyderabad | Type: Full-timeRole OverviewLead engineering for Echo, an enterprise conversational BI platform that converts natural language into SQL across SAP and enterprise data systems.This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for platform architecture, AI/LLM infrastructure, deployment strategy, and engineering team build-out. The role requires active involvement in coding, system design, and enterprise deployments.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn architecture and delivery of Echo’s NL-to-SQL, RAG, and orchestration stackLead cloud and on-prem AI deployments including GPU infrastructure, model serving, and securityDrive technical decisions across LLMs, agents, RAG frameworks, and evaluation systemsBuild and manage the engineering team, code quality, and release processesPartner with Product leadership on roadmap and execution planningSupport enterprise customers during complex technical deploymentsRequired Experience10+ years in software engineering with 3+ years leading production systemsStrong hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, function calling, and hallucination controlExperience deploying AI workloads in on-prem/GPU-based environmentsStrong coding and architecture ownership experienceProven team-building and engineering leadership capabilityPreferred ExperienceBackground in BI, analytics, database, or data platform productsExperience with NL-to-SQL or conversational analytics platformsFamiliarity with SAP BW, HANA, or S/4Open-source or research contributions in AI/LLM systems
