In just 2.5 years, CCBP 4.0 learners have been hired by 1700+ companies, including Google, Amazon, Nvidia, Goldman Sachs, Oracle, Deloitte, and more.Scale at which we operate on the tech level (as of February 2023)370 Cr+ learning minutes spent69 Cr+ Code Runs4.2 Bn+ API Requests Handled by our serversKnow more about NxtWave: the roleWe are looking for a senior engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of robotics systems, IoT solutions, and hands-on technical curriculum at NIAT.This role is central to building NIAT's physical technology capability by creating hardware that students learn from, connected systems that solve real problems, and rigorous courses that reflect where the industry is actually headed.The ideal candidate brings deep, hands-on expertise in robotics and embedded IoT, a track record of leading engineering teams to shipped outcomes, and the ability to translate that expertise into learning experiences that produce industry-ready engineers.Responsibilities: You will be the senior technical voice on the Robotics & IoT team. Your work spans four areas.Hardware & SystemsDesign and build IoT and robotics systems from the ground up, from schematic and firmware through integration and field testing. You own the full engineering lifecycle of physical products, not just a layer of it.Connected Systems & IoTArchitect and implement IoT solutions including device connectivity, sensor pipelines, embedded firmware, and cloud-edge integration. Define the technical standards the team builds to.Curriculum & Technical ContentTranslate your engineering expertise into rigorous, hands-on learning courses, labs, and projects that develop job-ready skills in robotics and IoT.Team LeadershipDirectly manage a team of engineers. Set sprint goals, review work, unblock problems, and develop people.Experience we care about :We care about what you have done, not what you have been exposed to.3+ years of hands-on experience in robotics, embedded systems, or IoT industry.Demonstrable experience building a hardware product end-to-end, from concept to a working physical system.Strong working knowledge of ROS2 and autonomous systems which includes navigation, sensor integration, control pipelines.Experience with IoT hardware which includes microcontrollers, embedded firmware, sensor interfacing, and connectivity protocols.Experience managing or technically leading a team of engineers on a shipped project.B.Tech or M.Tech from IIT, NIT, or equivalent, in ECE, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Robotics.Exposure to Physical AI concepts like VLAs, edge inference, autonomous mobile robots is a strong plus.Job OverviewJob Type: Full-TimeLocation: HyderabadWorking Days: 6-Day Week
