At Azista, you won't just be starting a job, you’ll be fuelling the future of space exploration.Role Overview:We are seeking a high-impact Product Engineer – Space Systems with strong technical depth and business acumen to drive product development, system integration, and market expansion across:RF Payloads & Communication SystemsElectro-Optical Payloads / Remote SensingSatellite Systems & SubsystemsYou will act as a technical bridge between engineering, customers, and business teams, owning the full product lifecycle—from concept to commercialization.Key Responsibilities:Technical Product Engineering & DevelopmentSupport the design, development, integration, and validation of satellite systems, subsystems (ADCS, EPS, TTC), and payloadsTranslate customer mission requirements into technical specifications, system architectures, and engineering trade-offsAct as a technical interface between engineering, product, and business teamsDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including:Product Requirement Documents (PRDs)Interface Control Documents (ICDs)System Design DocumentsTest & Qualification ReportsParticipate in design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR), system validation, and qualification campaignsSupport Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) activities and troubleshoot technical issuesDrive continuous improvement initiatives for cost optimization, reliability, and manufacturabilityCollaborate with project teams to ensure on-time delivery and mission successProduct Strategy & Business DevelopmentProvide technical inputs for proposals, bids, and customer discussionsDevelop technical proposals, whitepapers, presentations, and solution architecturesSupport Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for small satellites, payloads, and space servicesAnalyze market trends, competitor landscape, and emerging space technologiesContribute to product roadmap development and strategic positioningEngage with customers to define mission concepts and customized solutionsSupport pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and proposal submissionsRepresent the organization at industry conferences, space forums, and customer meetingsEnsure smooth transition from business development to execution teamsQualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in aerospace / mechanical / electrical / systems engineering / physics1–3 years of experience in:Space / Aerospace industryProduct Engineering / Sales Engineering / Systems EngineeringStrong knowledge of:Satellite systems & subsystems (ADCS, EPS, TTC, Payloads, Structures)Space mission lifecycle (design → integration → launch → operations)Systems engineering principles & design trade-offsExperience in technical documentation, proposals, and presentationsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesPreferred / Good-to-Have:Experience or knowledge in:Small satellites / CubeSats / LEO constellationsEarth Observation (EO) / Remote Sensing marketsRF systems / satellite communications / payload designFamiliarity with tools like STK, MATLAB, PythonKnowledge of aerospace standards (ECSS, NASA, ISRO guidelines)Exposure to pre-sales, proposal writing, or customer-facing technical rolesMBA or certification in Product Management / Business Strategy (plus)
