Senior Controls Engineer - (Allen-Bradley PLC + Ignition SCADA is must)Location: 100% Remote We are seeking an Immediate Joiner with strong experience in Allen-Bradley PLC and Ignition SCADA to join us as a Senior Controls Engineer, responsible for supporting, optimizing, and ensuring the reliability of PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation systems in food-grade (chocolate) manufacturing processes including mixing, tempering, molding, and packaging, with a strong focus on system reliability, food safety, and continuous improvement.Key Requirements:5+ years of controls engineering experience (food/CPG preferred)Strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000)Hands-on experience with Ignition SCADA (Vision) – HMI, alarms, tags, scriptingKnowledge of industrial instrumentation (temperature, pressure, flow, level, VFDs)Ability to read P&IDs and electrical schematicsExperience supporting 24/7 manufacturing environmentsResponsibilities:Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC & SCADA systemsSupport equipment commissioning and process improvementsCollaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Operations teamsMaintain system documentation and backupsEnsure compliance with food safety and electrical standardsPreferred:Food/chocolate/confectionery manufacturing experienceBatch/recipe systems, safety PLCs, packaging equipmentIndustrial networking (Ethernet/IP), SQL/Python knowledgeBachelor’s degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering or equivalent experienceIndustryFood & Beverages
