About the Role: The role involves guiding and mentoring the automation team on technical and functional aspects, providing solutions for automation-related technical challenges and team queries.Experience: 6 to 12 Years.Responsibilities:Guiding and mentoring the automation team on technical and functional aspectsProviding solutions for automation-related technical challenges and team queriesReviewing code, sharing feedback, and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standardsReviewing and merging PRs, resolving conflicts, and maintaining code qualitySupporting troubleshooting, defect analysis, RCA, and issue resolutionAnalysing failures in scheduled and on-demand CI/CD runs, and guiding the team on fixesBringing hands-on experience in setting up and managing automation execution through CI/CD pipelinesDriving test stability, reliability, and maintainability across the automation suiteTracking, monitoring, and reporting automation progress, quality metrics, execution status, and key risks to stakeholdersPublishing regular status updates, dashboards, and insights on automation coverage, pass/fail trends, and improvement areasIdentifying opportunities for innovation, process optimization, and productivity improvement within the automation practiceRecommending enhancements to frameworks, utilities, reusable components, and overall automation strategyEnsuring proper documentation, knowledge sharing, and adoption of standard processes across the teamSupporting planning, prioritization, and execution ownership for automation deliverablesProactively highlighting risks, dependencies, blockers, and improvement opportunities to leadershipRequired Skills:Experience with Selenium WebDriver / Serenity BDDProficiency in Java programmingFamiliarity with Cucumber and Gherkin frameworksKnowledge of CI/CD tools, specifically JenkinsExperience with GitHub for version controlUnderstanding of test management tools like XrayPreferred Skills:Experience in mentoring and guiding teams.Strong problem-solving skills.Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues effectively.Experience in process optimization and innovation.About the Company: QualiZeal is North America's fastest-growing independent digital quality engineering services company.
