AI Modernization Engineer / Architect

Role SummaryWe are seeking an AI Modernization Engineer / Architect to design and deliver AI-enabled transformation of enterprise applications. This role combines architecture-level thinking with hands-on engineering, leveraging knowledge graphs, AI copilots, multi-agent orchestration, and automation to accelerate modernization while ensuring governance, accuracy, and delivery excellence.The ideal candidate understands how to use AI as a collaborative engineering partner to design end-to-end workflows and scalable modernization solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and modernize legacy systems by designing scalable architecture patterns and migration strategies.Perform deep technical analysis and reverse engineering of existing applications, workflows, and integrations.Design and implement knowledge graph solutions to model enterprise systems, dependencies, and business logic.Build AI-driven engineering workflows using LLMs, copilots, and automation frameworks.Implement multi-agent orchestration using platforms such as AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.Define agent roles (planner, developer, tester, reviewer) to enable structured AI collaboration.Use AI as a design partner to accelerate workflow creation, architecture decisions, and engineering processes.Establish guardrails and governance mechanisms to reduce AI hallucinations and ensure traceability.Apply retrieval grounding techniques (KAG/RAG), validation loops, and human-in-the-loop reviews.Lead rapid application development and modernization using AI-assisted code generation and refactoring.Enable CI/CD pipelines and support cloud-native deployment strategies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end delivery and quality outcomes.Required Qualifications10+ years' experience in software engineering, enterprise architecture, or modernization programs.Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development workflows.Strong background in designing scalable enterprise systems.Technical Skills AI ModernizationLegacy TransformationMulti-Agent SystemsAutoGenLLM EngineeringKnowledge Graphs / Neo4jEmbeddings / Semantic SearchKAG / RAGPrompt EngineeringAI GovernanceHallucination MitigationHuman-in-the-loop (HITL)Microservices ArchitectureEvent-driven ArchitectureCloud Native (AWS/Azure/GCP)CI/CD and DevOps Programming experience (Java, Python, or similar).Preferred SkillsTelecom domain experience.Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
