Automotive Design Engineer

Role & Responsibilities: Develop detailed vehicle designs from initial concepts to production, focusing on both visual appeal and technical requirements. Create 2D and 3D models using CAD software and conduct simulations to optimize aspects like aerodynamics, structural integrity, and performance. Oversee or contribute to the creation of physical prototypes and develop testing procedures to validate design solutions. Interpret test results, perform design reviews, and analyze performance to ensure designs meet functional, safety, and quality standards. Work with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, marketing, and other engineers, to ensure project goals are met. Ensure designs meet all relevant regulatory and industry standards and are cost-effective. Investigate design issues and provide engineering solutions. Prepare technical reports and presentations on design progress and findings.Candidate Profile: A bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks), simulation tools, and knowledge of design principles, ergonomics, and aerodynamics. Strong ability to analyze data and interpret technical information. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present ideas to management. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
