The role requires strong engagement with government departments, regulatory bodies, and statutory authorities to ensure smooth coordination, compliance, and institutional representation. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of PR and government liaisoning experience, preferably in the education sector.Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic public relations initiatives to enhance the Trust’s brand image and public presence. - Establish, maintain, and strengthen regular coordination and working relationships with central and state government departments, local administration, regulatory authorities, and statutory bodies. - Act as the primary point of contact for all government-related communications, representations, approvals, permissions, renewals, and compliances. - Liaise with education boards, universities, councils, accreditation bodies, and other government agencies as required. - Coordinate inspections, audits, and official visits by government and regulatory authorities. - Draft and submit official correspondence, representations, proposals, and reports to government offices and authorities. - Represent the Trust in government meetings, public hearings, conferences, inspections, and official forums. - Coordinate with internal departments to collect, verify, and submit documentation required for government approvals and statutory compliance. - Handle sensitive government matters, escalations, and crisis communication professionally to safeguard the Trust’s reputation. - Monitor government policies, notifications, and regulatory changes impacting the education sector and keep management informed.Eligibility Criteria- Postgraduate degree in any discipline. - Minimum 10 years of experience in public relations and government liaisoning, preferably in the educational sector. - Ex-servicemen are preferred. - Proven ability to work closely with government officials and regulatory authorities. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong networking, negotiation, and coordination abilities. - High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
