This role is solely focused on driving continuous improvement (CI) initiatives across GBS Finance. The Manager will lead efforts to identify, design, and implement process enhancements, standardization, and automation opportunities that improve operational efficiency and service delivery. This position reports to the Director, Accounting Operations. This role works closely with the Director, Service Strategy & Excellence and collaborates closely with Global Process Leads (GPLs), the Senior Director of Finance Operations, and other GBS stakeholders to embed a culture of continuous improvement.The candidate is expected to reside in Hyderabad, India. Key Responsibilities:Lead the identification, prioritization, and execution of continuous improvement (CI) initiatives across GBS Finance.Drive process standardization and optimization efforts to enhance operational efficiency and reduce complexity.Design and implement scalable, sustainable process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies.Partner with Global Process Leads (GPLs), Finance Operations, and cross-functional teams to identify pain points and co-create solutions.Apply automation and digital tools to streamline transactional and operational processes.Develop and maintain a CI pipeline and track initiative progress, benefits realization, and lessons learned.Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build CI capabilities across the GBS Finance organization.Support change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes and tools.Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.Professional certifications in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies preferred.Minimum of 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, or operational excellence roles.Total experience between 7 to 11 yearsEnglish Proficiency (written and verbal IRL Level 4).Proven experience leading cross-functional CI initiatives in a global or matrixed environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change across diverse teams.Experience with automation tools and digital transformation in finance operations.Passion for innovation, simplification, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
