Director - Maps Operations

We are seeking a highly experienced Mapping Operations Leader to head large-scale Maps and Navigation Operations, driving quality, scale, and operational excellence across digital mapping platforms such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, and enterprise GIS solutions.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end map operations covering data creation, validation, enrichment, and maintenance for navigation, routing, POI, and geospatial datasets.Ensure map quality, accuracy, freshness, and SLA compliance across regions for navigation use cases such as routing, traffic, and address validation.Manage large-scale production operations supporting platforms like Google Maps, Apple Maps, or equivalent.Own and deliver complex, multi-region programs with strong governance, KPIs, dashboards, and cost efficiency.Drive process optimization through automation and AI/ML-enabled workflows.Build and lead large global teams, overseeing org design, capacity planning, hiring, and succession planning while fostering a high-performance culture.Required Experience & Skills 18+yearsofexperience in Mapping Operations, Navigation, GIS, or Geo-spatial domains.Hands-on exposure to Google Maps, Apple Maps, or large-scale enterprise mapping platforms.
