Role** L2 & L3 Protocol test EngineerRequired Technical Skill Set** L2: VLANs, xSTP, LACP, LLDP, VRRP, Mac learning, ARP, Q in Q L3: OSPF, BGP, ISIS QOSDesired Experience Range** 4-8Location of Requirement Hyderabad & BangaloreDesired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)Must-Have**· Experience in L2 & L3 Protocols testing· Familiarity with traffic test equipment like ixia and Spirent.· Ability to understand end to end regression testing work flow at technology area and platform/product level· Having experience and capability in solving complex issues in testing.· High quality debugging skills, ascertaining the reason for failure, distinguish between a SW bug or otherwise precisely.· Test automation frameworks, tools and scripting languages is a must and preferably in Python, Robot framework.· Strong analytical skills to debug and isolate problems.· Aptitude to learn new technology quickly and adapt to new feature testing/new assignments faster.· Excellent communication and presentation skills.· Responsibilities include, test planning, test script execution, defect analysis & tracking, and script fixing and test reports.· Good exposure in following technologies: Routing & switching architectures.
