Senior Director

Engineering Leader – Platforms (Rally, Clarity, Apptio, Learning Tools) Senior Engineering leader to manage and expand TS&E platforms such as Agile, Portfolio Management, and Learning & Development and ramp up the engineering team in India and accelerate our AI adoption journey. While these platforms are SaaS, this role requires deep technical expertise in configuration, customization, integrations, data models, automation, reporting and platform operations to enable enterprise‑scale Agile, portfolio, and financial governance.Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Engineering & Technical OwnershipServe as the technical leader to have the engineering teams supporting Rally, Clarity, Apptio, L&D tools, responsible for platform configuration, extensibility, stability, platform upgrades, vendor releases, and performance at enterprise scale.Design and implement advanced configuration models including workflows, custom objects, attributes, hierarchies, permissions, and business rules aligned to enterprise operating models.Lead integration architecture and build across Rally, Clarity, Apptio, ServiceNow, CI/CD pipelines, data platforms, and financial systems using APIs, webhooks, and middleware.Own data architecture and reporting enablement, including schema design, data pipelines, reconciliations, and analytics to support portfolio, capacity, cost, and value insights.Drive automation and AI‑assisted capabilities (e.g., Copilot, predictive insights, productivity automation) to reduce manual effort and improve decision quality.Own and operate Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments, including Vertex AI sandboxes, to support AI experimentation, learning programs, and pilot use cases, ensuring secure access, cost controls, scalable configuration, and alignment with enterprise AI governance. Ensure platform configurations support Lean Portfolio Management (LPM), Agile execution, Learning & Development, capacity planning, financial transparency, and value realization.Partner with architecture, security, and risk teams to ensure secure configuration, access controls, auditability, and compliance.Operational ExcellencePartner closely with U.S.-based TS&E leaders, lean portfolio managers, finance, and delivery leaders to translate operating model needs into scalable platform solutions.Act as the bridge between business outcomes and technical implementation, ensuring clarity of requirements and execution.Build and lead high‑performing platform engineering and support teams with strong configuration, integration, and data skills.Own incident, problem, and release management for Rally, Clarity, and Apptio, ensuring high availability and minimal disruption.Establish platform standards, reusable patterns, documentation, and runbooks.Track and report platform health, adoption, delivery metrics, cost transparency, and realized business value.Drive continuous improvement through backlog prioritization, technical debt management, and platform optimization.Required Skills & Experience15 years of experience in enterprise technology, with significant ownership of SaaS platforms requiring heavy configuration and integration.Expert‑level hands‑on experience with Rally, Clarity, and Apptio, Learning Platforms including: Advanced configuration and customizationAPI‑based integrations and data flowsPortfolio, capacity, cost, and value modelsStrong experience with Agile, LPM, and enterprise portfolio governance.Proven expertise in API technologies, Cloud, data integration, SQL, and reporting/analytics platforms.Experience integrating with ServiceNow, CI/CD tools, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and enterprise financial systems.Strong understanding of DevOps, SRE principles, platform reliability, and secure SaaS operations.Experience leading teams in a Global Capability Center (GCC) or shared services model.Exceptional stakeholder communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to senior leaders.
