The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in financial management, statutory compliance, taxation, and team leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesAccountingPreparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements with necessary disclosures.Lead and coordinate teams for completion of statutory and internal audits.Review day-to-day vendor payment transactions and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.Monitor and follow up on pending advances and reconciliations.Supervise provisional entries and accrual accounting.Finance & MISPreparation and submission of financial projections for term loans and working capital requirements.Plant-wise profitability analysis and periodic reporting of budgets vs actual performance.Monthly budgeting for various operational expenses and prioritization of costs.Review of inventory and vendor ageing reports.Taxation & ComplianceEnsure timely filing of statutory returns such as GST, TDS, Excise, and Service Tax.Assist in documentation and represent the company along with auditors/lawyers before authorities or tribunals.Handle excise and statutory audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
