Position: Procurement Manager – Infrastructure & International Sourcing Location: Hyderabad Type: Full-time Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee infrastructure-related purchases and vendor management across multiple campuses. The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end procurement, from vendor sourcing and negotiation to import/export coordination — particularly for electronic goods and lab equipment sourced from China and other countries. Key Responsibilities: Oversee procurement operations across all campus locations for infrastructure and technical requirements. Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors, contractors, and suppliers (domestic and international). Conduct first-hand negotiations for better pricing, quality, and delivery timelines. Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance, and logistics for electronic and lab equipment. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, government import norms, and institutional quality standards. Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships for long-term cost efficiency. Collaborate with finance, operations, and project teams to plan procurement budgets and timelines. Track market trends, pricing updates, and supplier performance. Requirements: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering / Business Administration. 4+ years of proven experience in infrastructure procurement or vendor management. Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, particularly for China and Southeast Asian markets. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and project management skills. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and vendor management tools. Strong communication and leadership abilities.
